Making his way to the Land Down Under, Taylor Lautner was spotted touching down at Melbourne Airport in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday (August 21).
Wearing a big smile on his face to go with a mostly-black ensemble, the "Twilight" heartthrob was escorted through the terminal as he's in town for a short Aussie promotional tour tied with his upcoming movie "Abduction".
Set to hit theaters on September 23rd, the thriller caper co-stars Lily Collins while being "centered on a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website."
After the movie's theatrical release, "Abduction" is lined up to become Lionsgate's very first early-release VOD test film - with the picture to be made available via VOD beginning three months after it's cinema debut.
According to Bloomberg, Lautner's film "will be offered for $6.99 in standard definition and $7.99 in HD, well below the typical early release prices of around $30."
Having skipped out on Comic-Con 2011, the stars of "The Avengers" took center stage to the delight of the many comic book crazed fans in Anaheim, California on Saturday (August 20).
On-hand for Disney's D23 Expo, Scarlett Johansson joined co-stars Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr at the Anaheim Convention Center venue to promote their in-the-works Joss Whedon directed action flick.
While remaining tight-lipped on the storyline, the audience was treated to two short clips from the film - with the material including "tense scenes between Nick Fury and Loki, and Iron Man alter-ego Tony Stark and the god-gone-wild," according to EW.
Set to take over theaters on May 4, 2012, "The Avengers" also stars Chris Evans, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany and Stellan Skarsgård.
