As for the film, “W.E.” sounds like it’s going to be an unforgettable flick, and is scheduled to hit theaters in the USA on December 9th, 2011.

According to a source, the film is “a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.”

Coming to the defense of her son, Cher has spoken out against critics of Chaz Bono's casting as the first transgender contestant on "Dancing With the Stars."
