Jake Gyllenhaal Closes Out the 62nd Berlin Int'l Film Festival
Looking dapper in a black tuxedo, Jake Gyllenhaal was on-hand for the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival festivities on Saturday night (February 18).
The "Source Code" stud hit the Berlinale Palast red carpet on the tenth day of the festival to attend the closing ceremony alongside his fellow jury members, Anton Corbijn, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Mike Leigh, Francois Ozon, Barbara Sukowa, Asghar Farhadi and Boualem Sansal.
At an earlier point in the German festival, the "Love & Other Drugs" star doted Meryl Streep a "Valentine's Day" gift presenting her with the golden honorary bear.
Prior to the festival, the actor talked about accepting the invitation to join the panel of jury members, saying, "I was incredibly excited to be asked because I am a big fan of Mike Leigh. I loved his films when I was a young boy. Being in a room with a number of artists and just talking about other work, I consider it a privilege and honor to be part of it."
