2011 Do Something Awards: A Complete Look


Held to recognize the most charitable people, places and events over the past year, the winners of the 2011 Do Something Awards were crowned in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (August 14).

With "Glee" actress Jane Lynch tending to hosting duties for the second straight year, big winners announced during the swanky ceremony included Olivia Wilde as Do Something Movie Star, Justin Bieber as Do Something Music Artist and David Beckham as Do Something Athlete.

With the show set to air on Thursday, August 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1, the 2011 Do Something Awards features a star-studded lineup of presenters including Adam Lambert, Victoria Justice, Olivia Munn, Kristen Bell and Jon Cryer while Demi Lovato, B.o.B, Foster the People and OneRepublic all graced the stage as performers.

All commendable for their good deeds, the list of 2011 Do Something Awards winners is as follows:

Demi Lovato Rocks the 2011 Do Something Awards


She just keeps on impressing everyone with her determination and drive, and last night (August 14) Demi Lovato was in the house for the Do Something Awards.

The “Camp Rock 2” cutie showed up at the shindig looking amazing, and even gave her first post-rehab performance of her song “Skyscraper.”

In a recent interview, Demi shared, "This song is so special to me because it's inspired by my journey and the struggles that I've dealt with this past year."

"I hope people are able to relate to it and realize that they are able to rise above and overcome any obstacle, no matter the circumstances, and shine like a skyscraper."

She added, "I am still on a personal journey dealing with my own issues each and every day, but the best advice I can give to anyone going through a rough patch is to never be afraid to ask for help."

Olivia Wilde: Do Something Movie Star Award Winner!


Making for quite the precious pair, Matthew Bellamy posted the very first picture of baby Bingham cradled in the arms of his actress mother Kate Hudson.

The Muse frontman offered up the adorable shot via his Twitter account on Sunday (August 14), while adding a short and sweet message reading, “Family life!”

The baby Bing picture posting comes after Kate and Matthew welcomed their first child together into the world just last month, with their newborn son joining big brother Ryder from Miss Hudson's previous marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson.

Meanwhile, the "Fool's Gold" beauty was recently asked by Elle as to when she and Bellamy would be walking down the aisle, to which she replied, “One thing at a time. We’ll say hello to our new one and enjoy that for a while.”

Certainly still fabulous at forty-five, Halle Berry celebrated her birthday at the beach in Malibu, California on Sunday afternoon (August 14).

The Oscar-winning actress was joined by boyfriend Olivier Martinez, daughter Nahla Aubry and a few close friends during the shoreside festivities.

Clad in a peach two-piece swimsuit, Miss Berry seemed to be having a marvelous time as she spent some one on one time with Nahla in between sipping on cocktails and frolicking about the sandy beach with her loved ones.

Adding a little excitement to the gathering, one of Halle's gal pals got a little bit frisky while grabbing ahold of the gorgeous actress and tossing her into the cool waters.

Joining in on the annual celebration of those trying to make the world a better place, Olivia Munn was on hand for the 2011 Do Something Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (August 14).

The “Iron Man 2” actress looked fabulous in a tight-fitting green and grey striped top paired with a black skirt as she roamed the backstage area at the Hollywood Palladium venue prior to her presenter duties.

According to VH1, DoSomething.org has honored the nation's best world-changers, ages 25 and under. The Do Something Award is the premiere national award for social action while nominees and winners represent the pivotal "do-ers" in their field, cause, or issue.

Tyra Banks: 2011 Do Something Awards Beauty


Bringing her fashionable self to the evening's festivities, the always-lovely Tyra Banks hit up the 2011 Do Something Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (August 14).

The 37-year-old supermodel gallivanted around the Hollywood Palladium blue carpet before heading inside to partake in the charity-driven annual VH1 event.

Among the nominees, Miss Banks is in the running for the Do Something Style honors - as she's competing against Nigel Barker, Gisele Bundchen, Fergie and Christy Turlington.
