Gavin DeGraw Recovering From Attack

After getting into quite the scuffle in New York City at the beginning of the month, Gavin DeGraw is on the road to recovery.

The “Chariot” singer, who suffered from injuries like a broken nose, concussion and facial lacerations is “feeling much better.”

As he continues to get better while healing at home Gavin added, “it will take a little bit more time to be back to 100 percent.”

Back on August 8, DeGraw was attacked near a bar that he co-owns with his brother by an unknown group of assailants and was later taken to Bellevue Hospital via ambulance.

Gavin DeGraw Debuts "Not Over You"

As he continues to recover from a vicious attack which occurred last week, Gavin DeGraw was still able to release his latest single “Not Over You.”

The 34-year-old singer collaborated with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder to produce the new tune.

Unfortunately, DeGraw is unable to be out and about promoting his new song because of doctor’s strict orders.

However, Gavin will rejoin Train and Maroon 5 in Columbia, MD on August 24, followed by stops in Syracuse, NY on August 25 and Holmdel, NJ on August 26.

Gavin DeGraw Hospitalized After Brutal Attack

Making for quite the saddening news, it's being reported that Gavin DeGraw has been hospitalized after he was brutally attacked in New York on Sunday (August 7).

According to TMZ, the "I Don't Want to Be" singer was jumped by a gang of assailants and assaulted.

The TMZ report adds that DeGraw was later admitted to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan where he's still under observation - with a spokesperson unwilling to reveal details about his injuries.

The attack is said to have taken place hours after DeGraw, 34, returned to the Big Apple following his opening performance on the Maroon 5 and Train tour in Connecticut earlier in the evening.
