"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" Eight Minute Trailer

It’s one of the most-talked-about films of the season, and “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” has just offered up another sneak peek in the form of an eight minute trailer.

The preview was put forth by Columbia Pictures while boosting interest in the first of three movies in “The Millennium Trilogy,” an adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s literary blockbuster.

Boasting quite the impressive cast, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" stars a strong lineup including Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgard, and Steven Berkoff.

Set to hit theaters December 21st, the book-based film is about journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig), who is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander (Mara), a young computer hacker.

Adding to the already immense anticipation of the film's debut, "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" co-stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara cover Empire magazine’s November 2011 issue.

The "Casino Royale" hunk and his "The Social Network" leading lady can be seen in four additional pictures inside the mag where the two are captured in various scenes on set - with one snapshot even showing the pair in a near lip-lock.

While talking with the publication, the movie's director, David Fincher, told, “This is a different movie from the one you’ve seen…”

Adding to the sure-to-be gripping performance, "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" cast includes Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgard and Robin Wright while set for a December 21st release date.
