Beyonce's BIG 'Thank You' to Michelle Obama

Clearly a fan of the First Lady, Beyoncé took to her Tumblr page to post a special something in which she crafted for Michelle Obama.

The "Halo" singer shared a hand-written letter with her fans, which is comprised of a big thank you to Mrs Barack Obama in recognition of her inspirational ability when it comes to African American women.

As for what she wrote, Beyonce started by penning, "Michelle, Is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!”

“No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways,” the new mom continued.

Beyonce closed the praiseful note by writing, “Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us — I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to."

Beyonce's Post-Baby Comeback Planning

She'll be spending the first precious months at home with her new baby girl, but Beyonce Knowles is already thinking about her return to the music studio.

Though the “Halo” singer is “enjoying the time off,” she is in talks with singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder, who told BoomBox blog that he has already sent the new mom several songs about motherhood.

"The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," Tedder explained.

Of trying to be included in the Beyonce comeback plans, Ryan added, "All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in."

Beyonce & Jay's Baby Statement: "We Are In Heaven"

Speaking out about their family blessing for the first time, Beyonce and Jay-Z released a statement addressing the arrival of baby Blue Ivy on Monday (January 9).

The power couple started things off by telling, “Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.”

“Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives,” Beyonce and Jay continued.

The "99 Problems" hitmaker and his "Halo" singing wife finished by writing, “We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”

Beyonc Gives Birth to Baby Ivy Blue Carter!

After numerous false alarms, the day has finally come in which Beyoncé Knowles has given birth to her first child!

The 30-year-old superstar reportedly welcomed a healthy baby girl named Ivy Blue Carter at New York City's Lenox Hospital on Saturday night (January 7) via a scheduled C-section with husband Jay-Z by her side.

According to the NY Daily News, Miss Knowles checked in under the name of Ingrid Jackson with ABC News telling that she arrived at the hospital on Friday night.

Doing everything possible to keep the birthing process a private affair, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are said to have shelled out a hefty $1.3 million to rent out the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hospital during their stay - though another hospital source dismissed the claim, saying, “We don’t have entire floors sitting empty at Lenox Hill."

The “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” songstress throws quite the backyard party in the clip, also featuring Kelly Rowland, Solange Knowles, and J. Cole.

Beyonce recently did a photo shoot with the world-famous Terry Richardson that showed up on his blog Terry’s Diary.

“Me and Beyonce” features Knowles and Richardson giving the ‘thumbs up,’ as well as Beyonce wearing Terry’s retro glasses.

Just days removed from releasing her "Countdown" video, Beyonce Knowles continues to churn out new material for her fans' viewing pleasure.

Most recently, the expecting singer has offered up a teaser clip from her next music video lined up for release to go with her single "Love On Top".

In the just over one-minute long segment, Beyonce can be seen donning a pilot's hat with a black leotard as she dances while joined by an all-male backup crew.

Four months after being convicted of aggravated manslaughter of a child, Amanda Brumfield, estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton has been sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

Having previously been acquitted of first-degree murder, authorities say the 32-year-old killed her best friend's one-year-old daughter during an overnight stay in October 2008.

Brumfield claimed that the child, Olivia Madison Garcia, became injured after falling from the playpen she was trying to climb out of.

Prosecutors dismissed the story, stating that it was "impossible" for the girl to incur a three-and-a-half inch fracture as well as bleeding and swelling in her brain from a fall of that height.

Taking her turn to promote her upcoming movie "Martha Marcy May Marlene," Elizabeth Olsen attended a press conference at the 49th New York Film Festival on Wednesday (October 5).

MTV News recently met up with Boyz II Men, who recognized Beyonce for sampling their “Uhh Ahh” in her single with Wayne Morris telling, "She's a clever artist. She's one of the best in the business right now. I guess you can say we finally got our duet with Beyonce."

When asked about her career after the baby is born, the star told, "I will probably [take the baby everywhere with me]. I am sure I will," she admitted. "I think that it shouldn't stop you. I think of course my life is going to change, and I definitely will make sacrifices, but you know, I think I will be able to bring hopefully my little rider with me."

Treating the audience to a high energy evening, Beyoncé performed at her special “4 Intimate Night With Beyonce” concert in New York City on Sunday (August 14).

Spotted side-by-side on Thursday afternoon (December 31), the happy couple held one another as they partook in a leisurely yacht cruise around the Caribbean ahead of the New Year's Eve parties.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z recently finished up his work on a brand new collaboration called "Light Up" with Toronto lyricist, Drake.

"Everybody is looking for this one joint with me and Jay, so that needs to happen," Drake previously told MTV. "My goal at this point is to keep making that organic music. I don't wanna feel pressure now that I have a single and music that's hot."

Now having completed the new track, Drake later told MTV, "When I heard that beat, the drums that they had come up with, it was like, 'Man, this is a moment. This sounds like where I'm at in my life.' So, we took it and 40 did what he does to pieces of music that I see potential in — he took it to the next spot. Jay-Z's on it. The song is phenomenal. It's done now."
