Elin Nordegren Draws End to Ski Vacation

 
Finished up with her New Year's/birthday getaway, Elin Nordegren has reportedly made the long overseas flight back to the States to be with her children.

The wife of golf great Tiger Woods spent the past week with her twin sister and a group of friends in the ski resort town of Chamonix, France.

"Elin wanted to take her family and close friends away from the minefield Tiger has created by his behavior," an insider told the Sun. "She has been absolutely torn to pieces by what he has done to her. But she still sees a future with Tiger because of the beautiful children they have."

The source adds of the trip, "She told him she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage."

Meanwhile, recent rumors have now placed Tiger holed up in the Trump International Hotel in New York City - although these reports are yet to be confirmed or denied.

Doing her best to remain out of the spotlight during her sister’s marital strife, Josefin Lonnborg, the sister of Elin Nordegren, was spotted out in London on Thursday (December 17).

The Swedish beauty, who happens to be a lawyer, went to a restaurant near her office for a bite to eat with some work colleagues.

Having helped her sister purchase a home in Sweden following Tiger Woods's affair scandal, the latest work is that Josefin's sis, Elin, is planning on leaving Woods for good.

A pal told press that “divorce is 100 percent on. It would not appear that Elin Nordegren is going to be standing by her man. Sources have told us that Elin has said this marriage is over and she is looking to divorce.”

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: Reluctant to Talk

With many questions still unanswered, police hope to interview Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren at their Orlando area home later today (November 29).

The golf star and his model wife have turned down requests by police to talk about Tiger's recent car accident - which landed him in the hospital and left him with facial lacerations - on both Friday and Saturday.

And while they're well within their rights to turn down police interview requests, it seems as if the reluctance to chat has helped boost speculation that Tiger sped out of the driveway after getting into it with Elin over a just-released National Enquirer story alleging an affair between Woods and Rachel Uchitel.

Nonetheless, police disagree with the tabloid claims, with patrol spokesman Sgt. Kim Montes saying, "Right now we believe this is a traffic crash. We don't believe it is domestic issue."
