Leaving the two kids with a babysitter, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted out at Antonio “LA” Reid’s Post-Grammy Dinner in Los Angeles last night (January 31).

The “Simple Life” mommy and her rocker beau looked fabulous as they hit up Cecconi’s Restaurant to check out the star-studded action.

Nicole donned a shimmery violet-colored dress along with her bangy brunette hairdo, while Joel stuck to his usual all-black ensemble.

While mingling, Joel and Nicole ran into fellow celebu-parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony who also looked to be enjoying some time away from parental responsibilities.

Excited for what's sure to be a fun filled holiday season with their two kiddies, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were out finishing up some last minute Christmas shopping in West Hollywood on Tuesday (December 22).

The former "Simple Life" star and the Good Charlotte rocker stopped by the Roseark jewelry boutique following Miss Richie's unsuccessful trip to 14 Karats the previous day.

Aside from prepping for the holidays with Joel, Harlow and little Sparrow, Nicole, 28, is also currently working on her upcoming half-hour sitcom in development at ABC.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, "the pilot centers around a professional woman with complicated family relationships who is struggling to figure out what role she'll take as her life and her family evolve."
