Kate Moss Gets Birthday Engagement Ring

Looking as if she's ready to settle down, Kate Moss is said to be engaged to marry longtime boyfriend Jamie Hince.

According to UK reports, Hince gave the catwalk cutie a sparkling diamond ring while celebrating her 36th birthday on Saturday night (January 16).

The Kills rocker is said to have jetted out to Mustique last week to celebrate his lover's birthday with a group of friends, including Topshop boss Sir Philip Green.

A source tells The British Daily Mail, "Kate was stunned, Jamie called her up and told her not to come home. He said he was flying out to Mustique. He had carefully picked a ring and chose her birthday to propose. It was the first time they had been alone together in quite a while and it was extremely emotional."

The insider adds, "Kate and Jamie are in a very good place, they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good."

Kate Hudson Reunites with Ryder in Aspen

Fresh off of a flight out of Santa Monica, Kate Hudson reunited with her growing son Ryder in snowy Aspen, Colorado on Monday afternoon (December 21).

After stopping for a warm beverage, the mother/son duo took a leisurely stroll around town - as Kate made the trip to the mountain locale to celebrate Christmas after her much publicized split from Yankee Alex Rodriguez earlier this month.

As for her breakup with A-Rod, a source recently told the NY Daily News, “Kate is better off without A-Rod. She had much better chemistry with Owen Wilson.”

The insider adds, “Alex is such a diva. When he came to the London premiere of ‘Nine,’ it was obvious he didn’t like standing in the background. He’’d show up late to every appearance.”

Stars Turn Up for "Nine" New York City Premiere

 

Making for quite the high profile event, the stars were out in full force for the New York City premiere of "Nine" at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Tuesday night (December 15).

Among those in attendance were the film's stars, with Kate Hudson , Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Daniel Day-Lewis and Fergie all lighting up the red carpet.

Also joining in on the fun were big names in entertainment including Madonna (with daughter Lourdes), the Olsen twins, Naomi Watts and many others.

Due out in theaters in the States on Christmas Day, "Nine" tells "the story of Guido Contini, a world famous film director as he confronts an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems."

Already expected to be a hit, the film came in second in today's Golden Globe nominations - picking up five bids, which is just one short of the six received by George Clooney's "Up In the Air".

Yesterday, Kate spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her eight children, as well as her bodyguard Steve Neild and his family.

Meanwhile, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin was forced to retreat to his grandma’s house for the gluttonous occasion, given that he and his on/off girlfriend Hailey Glassman had a explosive breakup earlier this month.

In a recent interview, the “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress revealed that when it comes to the way guys think, it isn’t very complicated.

She explained, "I sometimes feel like when you're talking to boys, they just hear certain keywords. But if you had a bubble above their head, they'd be thinking about game scores, masturbation and food."

Miss Hudson continued, "I love boys...but I believe they're really simple. Every guy likes to say that they're complicated, but they're so easy to figure out. What did that Dr. Laura say? Something like, 'All men want is sex and for you to make them a sandwich.' I thought that was really funny--and not entirely untrue."
