The 29-year-old New York native is fresh off his first trip to the World Cup -- where the U.S. national team won their group, but fell to Ghana in the round of 16. Now, Buddle is back with the Galaxy, and was just named to the MLS All-Star team, which will challenge Manchester United in Houston on July 28.

FanHouse was lucky enough to catch up with Buddle to talk about the World Cup, his reception upon returning home and his future plans. And it's clear he got a lot more out of the experience than just an extra 8,000 Twitter followers.

Nick Lachey Picks Up a Husky Pup

Taking another step in their relationship, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have adopted a pet dog as part of their family.

The “What’s Left of Me” singer and his gorgeous girlfriend picked out a one-year-old Siberian Husky named Kona after seeing it on display at an adoption event.

Nick explained, "I was driving down Ventura and we saw rescue dogs on the side of the road. Vanessa was with me — I don't make those kind of decisions alone anymore — but since I grew up with a husky, I couldn't resist."

From his past experience with the breed, Nick said Huskies are a challenge"because they can be aloof. They need a lot of exercise, but once you let them know that you're the alpha male, they're very loyal, great dogs."

The plan is to start filming at the end of the year…you can expect it will be a lot more modern than the original.”

Leo DiCaprio and Michelle Williams Take Over Berlin

Ready to promote their upcoming movie, the stars of "Shutter Island" gathered together for press duties in Berlin, Germany on Saturday afternoon (February 13).

In town for the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Michelle Williams joined in on a press conference and photocall at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Even celebrities have to do jury duty, and earlier this week Kristen Stewart performed her civil responsibility at a Los Angeles County Court.

The “New Moon” babe sat on a jury to decide the fate of a man who was accused of trying to solicit an undercover cop posing as a prostitute.

And luckily for the defendant, the jury found him not guilty. However, one of the court security guards may be getting the book thrown at him for posting a picture he took with Stewart.

The guard’s wife posted the picture online, but then took it down for fear of her hubby losing his job. She wrote, "Cancelled because unfortunately the photo that went up from Kristen in court was stolen and put on several blogs and got to the media and reached the ears of the court. Right now my husband and the security guard are in trouble for it having gone up and second because it is confidential when celebrities are in court. Now I feel bad. ... I am really scared, because I think it is possible that they could lose their jobs."

The way Maria worked was very method, and then [co-star] Julianne Moore was the complete opposite - between takes, she was a nice, normal mom talking about her kid’s baseball games. Then you would call ‘Action’, and suddenly she’s playing this creepo photographer! It freaked me out.”

With the 2010 Golden Globe Awards coming to an end, the latest installment of the annual awards show honored the very best in movies and television live from Beverly Hills on Sunday evening (January 17).

Shooting to stardom in the music world, Ke$ha was spotted arriving to the ABC studios in Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon (January 13).

Quickly surrounded by fans as she hopped out of her ride, the pop princess happily posed for a few pictures before heading inside for her sitdown with Jimmy Fallon.

The press outing comes just as Ke$ha was able to draw an end to Susan Boyle's six-week reign on the U.S. pop album chart by taking over the top spot.

Finished up with her New Year's/birthday getaway, Elin Nordegren has reportedly made the long overseas flight back to the States to be with her children.

The wife of golf great Tiger Woods spent the past week with her twin sister and a group of friends in the ski resort town of Chamonix, France.

"Elin wanted to take her family and close friends away from the minefield Tiger has created by his behavior," an insider told the Sun. "She has been absolutely torn to pieces by what he has done to her. But she still sees a future with Tiger because of the beautiful children they have."

The source adds of the trip, "She told him she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage."

Meanwhile, recent rumors have now placed Tiger holed up in the Trump International Hotel in New York City - although these reports are yet to be confirmed or denied.

Lindsay Lohan: Black Swimsuit Sexy

Spending yet another day out on the crystal clear Caribbean water, Lindsay Lohan was spotted out in Gustavia, St. Barts on Saturday afternoon (January 2).

Joined by a few friends, including little sister Ali, the "Mean Girls" starlet took off her beach cover to unveil a sexy black one-piece swimsuit for the day's yacht outing.

Also back on her Twitter account, Miss Lohan wrote to her fans and followers, "2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!?"

As previously reported by Gossip Center, LiLo also dished her New Year's resolution, tweeting, "To answer everybody's question...My new years resolution is to stop letting the lucky few that have my heart, try2constantly tear me down."
