The “We Own the Night” actress was the talk of the red carpet thanks to her unique bright orange strapless gown with black and white accents and her wavy brown tresses ahead of the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” event.

The annual fete finds actress Carey Mulligan acting as honorary co-chair alongside designer Miuccia Prada and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, while Azealia Banks is lined up to perform.

As for the celebratory occasion, this year's rendition of the Met gala ushers in the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition exploring "the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras."

The display is described as being "inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s while featuring "orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work."

It has been a rough weekend for the Beastie Boys, as founding member Adam Yauch passed away on Friday at age 47.

And finally, Adam Horovitz has broken his silence to share his reaction to losing his friend and bandmate.

Horovitz (nicknamed Ad-Roc) posted a statement on the band’s website- “As you can imagine, s**t is just fkd up right now. I wanna say thank you to all our friends and family (which are kinda one in the same) for all the love and support.”

“I’m glad to konw that all the love that Yauch has put out into the world is coming right back at him. Thank you,” he added.

Kate Moss' Weekend Shopping Spree

Getting out to enjoy the day, Kate Moss was spotted walking her cute puppy and shopping in Cotswolds, UK yesterday afternoon (May 5).

The gorgeous supermodel visited a local farmers market dressed in a grey jacket with a pair of tall black Ugg boots, and was later spotted in a white button up with an over sized scarf after taking her pooch home.

In personal news, the 38-year-old star is still a parting queen and was spotted leaving Groucho Club in London at 7 a.m. a few days ago.

Box Office: "The Avengers" Soars to Second Biggest Weekend EVER!

Living up to the massive hype with beyond-impressive numbers, "The Avengers" is situated atop the box office with year's best earnings to begin the weekend of May 4-6, 2012.

The Joss Whedon directed superhero blockbuster boasting an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth blazed out of the gates with a whopping $70 million in ticket sales on Friday which sets the projected opening weekend at $160 million - the second highest ever only behind the $169 million record held by "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2".

Getting knocked into the runner-up position is last weekend's triumphant film "Think Like a Man," as the Steve Harvey book-based comedy starring Meagan Good and Gabrielle Union nabbed $2.6 million on Friday with an anticipated weekend pull of $8.0 million.

Rounding out the top five at the box office in estimated totals are the Jennifer Lawrence starring blockbuster "The Hunger Games" ($6.7 million), followed by the Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling fronted drama "The Lucky One" ($6 million) and a tie for fifth place between Judd Apatow's "The Five-Year Engagement" and Peter Lord & Jeff Newitt's animated tale "The Pirates! Band of Misfits" ($5.9 million).

Stepping out for a little shopping, Denise Richards was spotted out and about in Calabasas, California on Friday (May 4).

Giving cameras a friendly smile, the "Wild Things" actress walked out to her car with her shopping bags wearing a white v-neck tee under a jacket with skinny jeans and black boots.

Richards was recently hand picked by Charlie Sheen to play his love interest in his new show "Anger Management" which is expected to make it's FX debut in June.

The odd role comes six years after the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from Sheen, and she seems pretty excited to work with her ex telling Extra, "I saw a sneak peek of the first episode and it's really funny, I did a table read last week."

The 10-episode series marks Sheen's first gig since getting the boot in March 2011 from his role in "Two and a Half Men", and according to Denise he's seemed to put his erratic behavior behind him saying, "He's in a really good place. Everything is good. He's been very focused on our children and on his job."

As "Glee" gears up for their prom-themed episode next week, a clip has been released of McKinley High students performing One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" for our viewing pleasure.

Belting out the song on stage are Glee Project winners Samuel Larsen and Damian McGinty, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, and Harry Shum, and the sneak peek gives us a glimpse of some unique clothing choices by the cast members.

Keeping up on her slender figure, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted getting in a morning workout in Studio City, California on Thursday (April 3).

Thumbing through her phone with her head down, the former "High School Musical" star walked by the shutterbugs wearing baggy black sweatpants and a grey racer-back tank top with bright shoes and a white hat.

After her fitness session, Miss Hudgens changed into a boho chic ensemble before heading out to a local psychic/spiritual store where she picked up a few items including some incense.

Meanwhile, Vanessa took to Facebook earlier in the day to post a four-square picture of herself in a flower printed maxi dress while looking off to the side with a slight smile on her face, adding a caption which read: "Sun cafe photo shoot lol by Stella Hudgens".

On the business front, the 23-year-old's latest film, "Spring Breakers," follows four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation. The movie is expected to hit theaters next year.

Jaleel White & Kym Johnson's Dancing Days are Over

Despite having danced their hearts out on the ballroom floor, Jaleel White and his partner, Kym Johnson, were the latest couple to be booted from "Dancing with the Stars."

After competing in a dance duel with Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower on Tuesday night's (May 1) episode, the judges unanimously felt that White and Johnson didn't compete well enough to make it to the next round.

This week's installment was not the first time that both couples had to duel it out for safety, as both sets of partners had competed in the bottom tier faceoff in the last two weeks.

Spotted leaving her hotel, Rihanna was spotted trekking her way through the streets of New York City this afternoon (May 1).

The Barbadian pop-star looked fierce with a coral colored crewneck along with a pair of tiny floral print shorts while rocking an au natural complexion.

In personal news, the 24-year-old singer revealed in an interview with MTV News that she was nervous about her new role in “Battleship,” saying, “I was the one that was intimidated.”

The “Rockstar 101” hitmaker added, "You know, we have a mutual respect for each other's industry. I was walking into this as an amateur — a complete amateur. I didn't know anything and I had a good team to learn from. I watched them, and especially Taylor, 'cause we did a lot of scenes together and he would always offer me advice."

Pairing up for Sin City promotional duties, Kristen Stewart joined Charlize Theron at Caesars Palacefor CinemaCon 2012 on Thursday night (April 26).

The "Twilight" actress and her Oscar-winning co-star were also accompanied by director Rupert Sanders while plugging their movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" at the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners.

Blake Lively's Hick Red Band Trailer: Watch Now!

With just over two weeks left until its theatrical release is upon us, Phase 4 Films has debuted the red band trailer for the upcoming film titled "Hick".

Released via Yahoo! Movies, the two and a half minute clip offers a glimpse of what can be expected from the dramedy featuring Blake Lively and Chloe Moretz in the lead roles.

Due out on May 11th, the movie is about a small town teenager who escapes to Las Vegas, leaving behind her alcoholic and abusive parents.

“Hick” is directed by Derick Martini while also featuring cast members including Eddie Redmayne, Ray McKinnon, Rory Culkin, Alec Baldwin, and Juliette Lewis.

Immersing herself in the spotlight ahead of the May 18th release of her new movie "What To Expect When You're Expecting", Cameron Diaz ate up the spotlight during day three of CinemaCon at Caesars Palace is Las Vegas on Wednesday night (April 25).

The 39-year-old actress donned a skintight asymmetrical black dress as she spoke onstage during a Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation dinner honoring DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg with the 2012 Pioneer of the Year Award.

Also on hand for the festivities were Miss Diaz's "The Holiday" co-star Jack Black, as well as "Puss In Boots" actor Antonio Banderas and his lovely wife, Melanie Griffith.

It's been quite a year for celebrity pregnancies and new babies, and now Jack Osbourne can be added to the list of famous parents!

The son of rock and roll couple Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne has officially welcomed his first daughter!

Editor of Hello magazine, Rosie Nixon, took to Twitter to announce the news, tweeting, "HELLO! can exclusively announce the safe arrival of @MrJackO & @lisamarstelly 's baby girl Pearl weighing 8lb 6oz. Love & congrats to them!"

First time parenthood is always quite a change and it sounds like the 26-year-old dad was taking notice! Earlier in the year, Jack took to his social media page, writing, "Well today I built a stroller, fitted a car seat, and went to home depot to get some stuff for the house...man o man my life has changed."

Nearing closer to his fiance's due date, Osbourne expressed his anxiousness to his followers, tweeting, "Holy crap balls...I'm gonna be a dad this month! That's mind boggling. They come with instructions right?? #shitisgettinreal."

Well, if Jack isn't too sure about the parenting manual, he can always look to Grandma Sharon - or as she would like to be called, "Shazza". In an earlier interview with People magazine, Sharon voiced her excitement about her son becoming a daddy, saying, "I am going to be the grandmother from hell because I am going to spoil this baby so bad, my son and Lisa are going to be like, ‘Get her out of here!’”

Jack and his lady first announced that they were expecting back in October, just two weeks after news of their engagement.

They’re always coming up with amazing stuff, and Disney-Pixar has released their new trailer for the forthcoming animated flick “Brave.”

Starring the voices of Kelly Macdonald, Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, and Robbie Coltrane, “Brave” is set to hit theaters in 3D and 2D on June 22nd.

Per the official synopsis, “Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. Continuing forth with their worldwide travels, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went on a family sight-seeing expedition in the Galapagos Islands on Monday (April 23).

The newly engaged Hollywood power couple deboarded a private jet with their brood before loading onto a docked water vessel to cruise the waters and check out the volcanic islands' scenery.

The overseas excursion comes just as Miss Jolie has been named as an honorary citizen of Sarajevo as a thank you for her attention-grabbing film directorial debut titled "In the Land of Blood and Honey".

Of the decision by the Bosnian government to dote the accolade on the actress, a source told Us magazine that it was for "her contribution to the preservation of truth about the war in Sarajevo and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her dedication to the protection of the principles of humanity, democracy, tolerance and solidarity between people of different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds".

The new batch of honorary citizen recipients are scheduled to be presented with their new titles at Sarajevo Canton's parliament on May 3.

The "Fearless" songstress looked springtime chic in black Ray Ban sunglasses, a blue and white striped dress and her signature red lip as she strolled the ritzy California locale's sidewalks in search of a few new additions to her wardrobe.

After her shopping day out, the busy country music superstar grabbed an afternoon pick me up while posting a picture of a delicious looking coffee drink with a caption reading, "Being the girl sitting alone in the cafe, taking a picture of her latte. If that's a thing."

In career news, the 2012 CMT Music Awards nominations were released today and, in true Taylor fashion, she's not up for just one trophy, but three!

The 22-year-old has been nominated for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year for "Safe & Sound”, as well as Female Video of the Year for her song “Ours.”

If this awards show goes anything like previous events that Swift has been nominated, we're quite certain that she'll be walking away with a few new additions to her rapidly growing collection.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Close Out Coachella

Drawing an end to what was quite the weekend, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted trekking through the crowds at the 2012 Coachella Valeey Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California on Sunday night (April 22).

Joined by a few friends, the "Breaking Dawn" co-stars were side-by-side at the Empire Polo Club venue, but quickly split apart from one another upon a paparazzo's arrival.

As for Coachellla's second weekend closing lineup, Rob and Kristen were treated to performances by acts including Florence + the Machine, The Hives, At The Drive-In and a night-capping effort by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg.

Having been situated at the annual outdoor celebration for the past few days, Pattinson and Stewart reportedly had quite the romantic moment on Saturday night.

Of the scene, a source told Celebuzz, ”They were kissing and holding hands during Radiohead, swaying and singing along to parts [of the songs.].”

Hitting the red carpet for the second night in a row, Olivia Wilde spent another day in the spotlight as she premiered her new movie 'Deadfall' as part of the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Sunday (April 22).

With the screening taking place at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, the newly blonde 28-year-old actress flaunted her figure in a sexy LBD while teaming up with co-stars Kate Mara and Eric Bana.

Director Stefan Ruzowitzky was also on-hand for his new film's debut, as the crime/thriller finds "siblings Addison and Liza on the run with the stolen loot from a casino job gone horribly wrong. While no U.S. release date has been set thus far, "Deadfall" - which also boasts Sissy Spacek, Charlie Hunnam, Kris Kristofferson and Treat Williams in the cast - is expected to hit theaters on a limited basis sometime this year.

After jetting in from Boston, Gisele Bundchen was spotted getting off a flight with her husband Tom Brady and their son, Benjamin, at the LAX airport in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 21).

Celebrating their first wedding anniversary, LeAnn Rimes and hubby Eddie Cibrian set out for a romantic weekend.

The country cutie reportedly kicked off the celebrations by grabbing lunch at Italian restaurant Toscanova with Cibrian - who she married on April 22 of last year - before heading to their getaway location in Calabasas, California, according to People.

It seems there is still no lack of wedded bliss after the country cutie tweeted a picture of a beautiful pink rose earlier today with the caption, ""Like a rose Our love is like a sweet rose" Mackenzy Edmon".

The 29-year-old told her Twitter fans she was shutting her phone off for the day on Friday, but she couldn't do it without first revealing, "I gave Eddie his anniversary gift early. I can never wait! He was so cute, he loved it so much he wore it to bed. For you dirty minds, it was a watch.... :)-
I just thought that was super cute. All boys, no matter what age love their toys a lot."

Although LeAnn and Eddie's official one year anniversary isn't until Sunday, the couple is already showering each other with gifts to mark the celebration after infamously falling in love while filming the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights" in 2009, causing an end to both of their current marriages at the time.

He's commendably doing what he can to help make the world a better place, and Ian Somerhalder spent Saturday night (April) playing host at The Influence Affair party in Bel Air, California.

Ryan Seacrest Pays Tribute To Dick Clark: 'I Idolized Him'

After passing away from an unexpected death at the age of 82 on Wednesday (April 18), Dick Clark is being remembered by someone who truly idolized him, Ryan Seacrest.

After hearing of the heartbreaking news, Seacrest expressed his sadness and condolences on his website, explaining, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Dick Clark. He has truly been one of the greatest influences in my life. I idolized him from the start, and I was graced early on in my career with his generous advice and counsel."

After Clark suffered from a stroke in 2004, which left him paralyzed with slurred speech, the 37 year-old entrepreneur stepped in as host of ABC's annual new year's celebration, "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve."

Seacrest explained his joy of being able to be a part of such an iconic show, saying, "When I joined his show in 2006, it was a dream come true to work with him every New Year’s Eve for the last 6 years. He was smart, charming, funny and always a true gentleman. I learned a great deal from him, and I’ll always be indebted to him for his faith and support of me."

"He was a remarkable host and businessman and left a rich legacy to television audiences around the world. We will all miss him.”

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the legendary TV personality died from a massive heart attack suffered early Wednesday morning and is survived by his third wife Kari Wigton, along with three children from his prior two marriages.

Making her first public appearance since checking out of Utah's Cirque Lodge in March, Demi Moore turned up at the launch of 'The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet' on Tuesday night (April 17).

The "Ghost" actress looked to be in fine form as she joined alongside actress/photographer Amanda de Cadenet and InStyle Editor Ariel Foxman at the fete held at a private residence in Beverly Hills, CA.

During the festivities, Miss De Cadenet spoke with E! News about her new show - telling that she was keen to work with Miss Moore (her best friend) on the program.

"I'd been doing these interviews for about a year and Demi is one of my best girlfriends and a great sounding board for me," Amanda dished to E!. "She's got 10 years on me, and so she is more ahead of me in the game of being a woman. She is an amazing resource for me, and so she has a vast life experience that I love to experience and to hear. And so I had been doing this for a year, and at a point that it became a reality and looked like it could actually go on TV, Demi said, 'Listen, Lifetime wants me to do something with them, but I want to do it with your thing. I really believe in what you are doing.'"

Amanda added, "It was amazing to go to work with someone that I am so close to. It's really cool to be able to do that. She is really enjoying going behind the camera, she's a really good director...She's not someone that's like, 'Oh I can't make that phone call.' If she's on she's on, she's in. Amanda Bynes Faces More Problems Behind The Wheel

Lately anytime Amanda Bynes is behind the wheel, she finds herself getting into trouble with the law.

After being slapped with a DUI arrest on Friday April 6th, the former child star attracted a lot of attention again when she set out for a drive Sunday night in West Hollywood.

Bynes was spotted around 10:30 p.m. "holding up traffic and doing an incredibly slow 3-point turn in the middle of Robertson [Blvd.]," an eyewitness revealed to People, and that wasn't the only headache she caused.

Eyewitnesses also say, "She looked wobbly – I guess it could have been the heels since she was wearing sky-high nude pumps, but she did seem out of it."

The 26-year-old must have been out of it because she neglected to pay the valet, forcing workers to chase her down inside SUR restaurant and bar for the $8.00 fee.

Despite her recent driving problems, Amanda’s father is jumping to her defense - saying the actress is “a good girl” who does not drink.

Once reports of Bynes' DUI arrest hit the web, her father said, “She was not drunk. I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”

With his new movie "The Avengers" set to hit theaters on May 4th, Robert Downey Jr pitched in on the promotions by scoring the cover of the May 2012 issue of Esquire magazine.

The 47-year-old actor looked dapper in a Gucci suit and tie for the Nigel Parry shot front page while opening up about topics such as his latest role as a father and addiction.

On his new son:
"Three weeks ago, we had a bun in the oven, and we were about to have a kid. There was all this trepidation, all this projection, all this anticipation and goodwill and a good vibe about it. It seems like he's always been here."

On being a father:
"I guess here's what's come to me in the last three weeks: That anticipation and fear are going to come back. Am I going to know what to do with them? Does any new parent, even if you're not a first-time parent, ever really know what to do? Only thing you have to do, the only requirement, if you can hack it, is to not transfer your own discomfort in the moment to this fresh soul, right? ... You got to be mindful. I don't want to be so confident in myself. It's that balance between being relaxed enough to not be communicating anxiety and present enough to not be creating the very thing that you were anxious about by being so relaxed — because I've seen that parenting style, too."

On being a hero:
"Do I want to be a hero to my son? No. I would like to be a very real human being. That's hard enough. Every dad casts a shadow, you know? And that shadow is you're disappointed, you're resentful, or you feel so supported and loved you don't understand why life is so hard anyway — or, you know, it's so long and so dark that you can never step out of it, so you might as well not even try. Right? So. So hero to me is not applicable to the human experience.

I think that we all do heroic things, but hero is not a noun, it's a verb."

On addiction:
"A link between addiction and creativity? Horses**t. No, I never told myself that lie.

I'm not saying that the correctly timed intervention here and there is blah blah blah — look, it's valiant to go waste days, weeks, months, and years trying to fish someone you care about out of their own abyss. But if your intuition asks, Is this a big O.K. Corral ego trip on the part of the people who are going to say, 'All right, we're going to go in and handle this'? Because you're not. You're not going to handle s**t. No amount of effort is going to nudge somebody out of a situation that they deem is hopeless. And people sense when there's an ego trip involved, when there's a 'I'm here to save your life!' It's horses**t. It's horses**t. I hate it. That's recovery vulturism."

Stunning, young supermodel Karlie Kloss brought her glam self to feature in the May 2012 issue of British Vogue, taking us through her day-to-day activities while enjoying her time in Paris, France.

Rob Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Set for "Breaking Dawn" Re-Shoots

Twihards, brace yourselves, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are heading back to Vancouver and getting into their sexy vampire characters for some last minute tweaks to "Breaking Dawn: Part 2".

The director of "Breaking Dawn," Bill Condon, revealed in a letter, "Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we'll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots—the last tiny missing pieces."

And that's not all he revealed. Writing to the die hard Twilight Saga fans, Condon also teased, "I'm excited to report that before too long we'll have another trailer for you to decode, and wait until you see the first posters—they're unlike any Twilight images you've seen before."

The first trailer gave us a quick look at the beautiful K-Stew as the bloodsucking vampire Bella as she embraced her husband, Edward Cullen (played by Pattinson) and showed part of the hunky Taylor Lautner's reaction to the crimson-eyed Stewart.

Although Condon has admitted they have no plans to shoot new scenes for the film, he revealed the vampire couple will in fact be on set, explaining, "I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I've made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time..."

Leaving us itching with Twilight frenzy, the director ends the letter on a hopeful note, writing, "And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours! Until then, have a very happy spring, and I'll check back in with you soon."

Madonna Launches 'Truth or Dare' Fragrance

Tending to promotional duties as she hopes for big sales, Madonna launched her signature scent 'Truth Or Dare' By Madonna in New York City on Thursday night (April 12).

The 'Material Girl' was in fine form as she greeted the gathered crowd at Macy's Herald Square while clad in a black Dolce & Gabbana frock.

Madge's fragrance launch comes after her commercial for the product caused a bit of a controversy while deemed by many to be "too sexy".

The New York Post reported that the ad (watch below) led ABC to request a revised version from Madonna before airing it in a primetime slot.

The Post's source dished, "ABC viewed the ad [and] came back with a list of changes. They say they want her bra digitally made bigger, and to extend higher to cover more of her chest, and her corset longer to cover more of her bottom. ABC also wants to cut another suggestive scene where Madonna writhes around."
