Britney Spears: Officially Engaged


Getting ready to spend the rest of their lives together, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are officially set to be married!

Rumors of an engagement began to spark yesterday afternoon, and now a source confirms to UsWeekly that the “Circus” star and her former agent got engaged at his 40th birthday dinner in Las Vegas on Thursday night (December 15).

"This is something they've both wanted for a long time," the source told. “It's a way to cement their family. They're both extremely happy and can't wait to become man and wife."

Additionally, Spears hinted at the big news on Twitter Friday morning, writing, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo"

Britney Spears: Home, Sweet Home!


Making for quite the special occasion, the stars were out in full force for the "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (December 11).

Held at The Shrine Auditorium, the ceremony was hosted by Anderson Cooper while featuring performances including Miley Cyrus (who was joined at the event by boyfriend Liam Hemsworth) singing "The Climb" and Kid Rock treating the audience to a rendition of "Care".

Meanwhile, celebrity presenters taking the stage during the ceremony included Sofia Vergara, Jerry Seinfeld, George Lopez, Emma Roberts, J.R. Martinez, Chris Colfer, Ice Cube, will.i.am, Kurt Warner, Laura Dern and Mary-Louise Parker.

As for the honorees, Robin Lim was named the 2011 CNN Hero of the Year for her extensive aid to those in need in Indonesia.

Introduced by Christy Turlington Burns, Lim told the crowd, "Today on our Earth, 981 mothers in the prime of their life will die -- and tomorrow again and yesterday. And I'm asking you to help change that. We don't even know how many babies are lost, but all of us can help change that."

Eddie Canales
Eddie Canales' son was paralyzed during a high school football game in 2001. Today, Canales' nonprofit, Gridiron Heroes, provides emotional and financial support to high school football players who've sustained life-changing spinal cord injuries.

Taryn Davis
Taryn Davis was just 21 when her husband, an Army corporal, was killed in Iraq. In 2007, she created the American Widow Project. To date, her nonprofit has provided a community of support to more than 900 young military widows.

Sal Dimiceli
Sal Dimiceli has spent decades helping people get back on their feet. Through a local newspaper column and his nonprofit, The Time Is Now To Help, Dimiceli assists about 500 people a year with food, rent, utilities and other necessities.

Derreck Kayongo
Derreck Kayongo's Global Soap Project collects partially used hotel soap and reprocesses it to save lives. Since 2009, the Atlanta-based nonprofit has provided about 150,000 bars of soap for communities in 10 countries.

Finally back home to get some much-deserved rest, Britney Spears touched down at LAX airport in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday afternoon (December 11).

Clad in an all-white ensemble, the "Hold It Against Me" singer was accompanied by boyfriend Jason Trawick and her two sons, Sean and Jayden, after a long flight from Puerto Rico.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Spears is fresh off of closing out her 79 concert Femme Fatale world tour - with the final show taking place in San Juan.

After the gig's end, Britney thanked all those who bought tickets and helped make the lengthy string of performances happen.

She kicked off her gratitude-filled tweets by saying, "That's a wrap! The Femme Fatale tour is officially over :( Gotta give some end of tour shout outs…"

"To all my dancers - u all are basically family. Thx so much for an unforgettable year!," Britney gushed, adding, "To every single INCREDIBLE person on my crew - none of this would of been possible without you. I'm gonna miss u!"

To close out her appreciative tweets, Spears thanked all those who came out to her many shows, writing, "And last but DEFINITELY not least - to all of the amazing fans who I saw on this journey around the world. <3 u all."

Britney Spears Brings 'Femme Fatale' to Brazil


Ready for her primetime appearance in the UK, Lady Gaga arrived at Fountain Studios in London ahead of her performance on "The X-Factor" on Sunday night (November 13).

The 25-year-old turned up clad in a dollish white lace dress as she sipped on a cup of tea while sauntering into the backstage area prior to showtime.

Busy on Twitter in the moments before tending to her television duties, Gaga wrote, "So excited to perform Marry The Night on X Factor UK tonight! Will sing my head off for England!!"

Unbeknownst to many, the "Judas" singer happened to be referencing her show ensemble - as the Mother Monster later emerged for her rendition of "Marry the Night" dressed as a decapitated corpse.

Seen exiting a mausoleum toting her own head in her arms, Gaga later stripped down to her undergarments while closing things out by holding a pose well after the music stopped.

As for what's ahead, the overwhelmingly popular Lady Gaga is enjoying a rather loose schedule before tending to her appearance at the Grammy Nomination Concert at Nokia Theatre LA Live on November 30th.



As her Femme Fatale tour efforts begin to wind to a close, Britney Spears was spotted arriving in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Sunday afternoon (November 13).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer was surrounded by security personnel as she was whisked through the local airport and shuttled off to a waterfront hotel in the South American country.

Once settled into her temporary abode, Miss Spears later emerged onto her balcony as she smiled and waved while joined by her manager beau, Jason Trawick.

Britney Spears to Debut "Criminal" Clip Next Week!


Stepping out for the star-studded event, Audrina Patridge attended the premiere Of THQ's "Saints Row: The Third" in Los Angeles, California last night (October 12).

Showing off her svelte physique, the former "Hills" hottie turned heads on the event's purple carpet, wearing a body-hugging one-shoulder black dress and leather booties.

And as always, Audrina's hair quickly became the topic of conversation - as she debuted yet another coif change.

Of the constant strand-switching, the now ombre-tressed Patridge told press, "I miss being a brunette. I feel like there are so many blondes in L.A.!"

Sure to whet the appetites of eagerly awaiting fans, Britney Spears teased her faithful followers with a time frame for the much-anticipated release of her "Criminal" music video.

Having created quite a frenzy of excitement, the "I Wanna Go" songstress took to her Twitter earlier today (October 13) to hint about the clip's debut.

Britney wrote, "Just saw the final cut of the Criminal video... It's so hot. Can't wait for you guys to see it next week."

While no further information has been offered up by Spears, nor her camp, the video's director Chris Marrs Piliero recently took to the social media site to boost fans' interest, as he tweeted, "not a whole lot i'm allowed to say about the @britneyspears criminal vid other than that i love this video and can't wait for it to come out," he wrote. "oh and that she looks gorgeous in it... pretty sure it's cool for me to say that..."

Britney Spears Receives Criticism for Criminal Video


She’s usually pretty socially-conscious, but Britney Spears is making waves in the UK with her newly-shot “Criminal” music video.

The “Toxic” songstress filmed the shoot in the Hackney borough of London, an area that sustained major damage from riots back in August.

And the fact that Brit Brit brandishes a gun during some of the scenes has caused an uproar with government officials and locals alike.

One city council member declared, “I think she should apologize and make a sizable donation to a Hackney charity that deals with young people… for the rudeness and damage she’s done to this community.”
