Working her magic on the runway, Karolina Kurkova was spotted at the Gottex Spring 2011 fashion show yesterday (September 15) in New York City.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel looked absolutely fabulous as she showed off her modeling skills as part of the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week festivities.
In a recent interview, Karolina revealed the secret to her catwalk poise- she makes believe she’s an actress!
“Some designers, like John Galliano, like to gather the girls and give them a boost before they get on the runway. Like, ‘Think you’re on the beach, think you are on the Riviera and there is this man that you love.’ Some designers do that, and some designers keep it really cool and relaxed. It's good to have direction, if that’s the idea they have. I think of myself as an actress when I’m on the runway, I’m not just a body walking up and down.”
