Britney Spears' New Pet

Getting back to her shopping-intensive routine of life back home in Los Angeles, Britney Spears was escorted by her two bodyguards for a shopping session on Wednesday (September 30).

The "Gimme More" singer started things off with a trip to Target before opting to buy a pet parakeet from the California Pet Center in Calabasas.

The visit to Target followed a trip to the popular store the previous day - during which time Brit picked up a few Michael Jackson CDs among other purchases.

Miss Spears just returned back home after finishing up the North American run of Circus shows in Las Vegas this past weekend. Brintey's bow off duty until November, when she heads to Australia for a string of six shows.

Madonna at the Late Show with David Letterman

Hitting up the promotional circuit, Madonna was spotted as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Wednesday (September 30).

Smiling and offering up a wave as she made her entrance, the "Material Girl" happened to be paying the visit to CBS Studios for a taping of the "Late Show with David Letterman".

The visit comes as Madge is dealing with negative comments stemming from Michael Jackson tapes released in a book by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

An excerpt finds Jackson telling, "Madonna laid the law down to me before we went out. [She said] I am not going to Disneyland, OK? That's out. I said, 'I didn't ask to go to Disneyland.' She said, 'We are going to the restaurant. And afterwards, we are going to a strip bar.'"

He adds, "I said, 'I am not going to a strip bar, where they cross dress. Guys who are girls,' I said. 'I am not going to there. If that's how it is, forget this whole thing.' Afterwards, she wrote some mean things about me in the press. And I wrote that she is a nasty witch, after I was so kind to her."

Britney Spears Downtime

Enjoying time off from stage duties, Britney Spears stopped by Target to buy a CD with her bodyguard in Los Angeles on Tuesday (September 29).

The “Gimme More” singer looked stylish in a flowing white dress, currently on break from her Circus tour before hitting up Australia for six shows in November.

Kate Gosselin: Escorting Her Children

Tending to her motherly duties, Kate Gosselin was spotted taking her children to Prestige Gymnastics in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon (September 29).

With a camera crew following along, the TLC reality star mom escorted her brood of kiddies past onlookers and paparazzi as they readied for the day’s lesson.

Taking part in the happenings surrounding Milan Fashion Week, some of Hollywood's lovely ladies made their way to the amfAR inaugural gala in Milan, Italy on Monday night (September 28).

With Rachel Bilson and Dita Von Teese both hitting the red carpet, the pair of beauties were all smiles as they posed for pictures upon arriving to La Permanente for the evening's festivities.

As previously reported by Gossip Center, the event is to be chaired by Janet Jackson, while Dita is lined up to perform a special burlesque routine for the attendees.

Talking about the event, Kevin Robert Frost, amfAR’s chief executive officer, said, "For amfAR, coming to Milan is like coming home—or at least like visiting your closest friends. The Italian fashion community has been incredibly welcoming and generous to amfAR.”

Mel Gibson is "The Beaver"

Getting to work on his latest project, Mel Gibson threw on a beaver hand puppet while shooting scenes for "The Beaver" in Upstate New York on Monday (September 28).

The film, which is directed by and co-stars Jodie Foster, is about "a guy walking around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand who treats it like a living creature."

As for his personal life, Mel is currently expecting a child with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva - though the two have no plans to tie the knot at the current time.

Oksana recently told press: "We have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven't thought about it. How could one not be impressed with such an intimate connection with the miracle of life? It's beautiful, children are beautiful."

Vanessa Hudgens Back at Vancouver

Finished up with a short visit back home to Los Angeles, Vanessa Hudgens was in high spirits as she made her way to LAX Airport on Sunday (September 27).

The Disney damsel was on her way to catch an outbound flight for Vancouver - where she'll be continuing work on her new project, "Sucker Punch".

As previously reported by Gossip Center, Miss Hudgens spent the previous day at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Music Benefit.

There alongside "Heroes" hottie Hayden Panettiere, the twosome posed for pictures and mingled with guests at the Jim Henson Studios event.

Khloe Kardashian Got Married!

Having been outed as a couple just a month back, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom tied the knot during an elegant ceremony at a Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday evening (September 27).

With the "I Do's" taking place at 5:12PM, Miss Kardashian was decked out in Vera Wang as her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, walked her down the aisle to marry her LA Lakers star beau.

Also taking part in the proceeding were Khloe's reality star sisters, Kim and Kourtney, with many of Odom's teammates including Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest and Luke Walton all on-hand for the festivities.

With stars such as Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Brittny Gastineau and Chelsea Handler all on the guest list, the group then headed off to let loose during a Hollywood nightclub-themed reception taking place in a tent on the property - with a four-course dinner on the slate and a DJ booked to keep the crowd moving until 11PM.

Megan Fox Laughs and Jimmy Fallon Claps His Hands

he’s been awfully busy on the promotional trail as of late, and last night (September 25), Megan Fox stopped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Looking lovely in a pink dress, the brunette hottie opened up about being neurotic about certain things. For example, Fox hates to touch dry paper, like newspaper and scripts, and has to lick her fingers before touching each page.

The actress continued on, admitting that as a teenager she once stole Mary Kate and Ashley cosmetics from a Wal-Mart and had to wrap presents for poor children as a punishment.

Tonight, the 23-year-old is set to host the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” along musical guest “U2.”

Kate Beckinsale Holds a Box of Pizza

Out for a day of shopping and quality time with her daughter, Kate Beckinsale was spotted earlier today (September 26) in Pacific Palisades, CA.

The “Click” actress looked cute in short black shorts and a black tank as she took young Lily, their teeny tiny puppy, and some friends into a clothing store.

The ladies looked to be having a marvelous time as they tried on clothes, and while in the store ran into “Desperate Housewives” star, Marcia Cross.

In other news, Beckinsale’s lastest film “Whiteout” hit theatres mid-September and she has two films in the making, “Everybody’s Fine” and “April 23.”
