Getting to work on his latest project, Mel Gibson threw on a beaver hand puppet while shooting scenes for "The Beaver" in Upstate New York on Monday (September 28).
The film, which is directed by and co-stars Jodie Foster, is about "a guy walking around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand who treats it like a living creature."
As for his personal life, Mel is currently expecting a child with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva - though the two have no plans to tie the knot at the current time.
Oksana recently told press: "We have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven't thought about it. How could one not be impressed with such an intimate connection with the miracle of life? It's beautiful, children are beautiful."
