Cristiano Ronaldo in Toronto

Drawing a crowd of over 18,000 fans, Cristiano Ronaldo joined his Real Madrid squad for practice at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada on Thursday (August 6).

Preparing ahead of tonight’s match, the Portugese soccer stud looked a bit upset after almost injuring his ankle during a day which also saw a crazy fan run onto the field and try to attack players from Real Madrid before being taken down by security.

As for Ronaldo’s new team, coach Manuel Pellegrini has high expectations with the big acquisitions – as he believes Real Madrid will challenge for all three titles.

"We have got a great squad and now we have to prove it," Pellegrini wrote on the club's official Web site.

He added, "We have two objectives, to try and win three competitions at the same time (Primera Liga, Kings Cup and Champions League) and also for the fans to enjoy the football that we play. We have a chance of winning all three titles.”
