Sofia Vergara Covers Esquire April 2012

With her new movie "The Three Stooges" set to hit theaters next month, Sofia Vergara added to the promotional efforts by landing the cover of the April 2012 issue of Esquire.

The 39-year-old Colombian beauty looked oh-so-hot in an array of curve-hugging lingerie while she's promised to have revealed closely guarded truths about the heretofore incomprehensible ways of the Latin woman in her interview.

Along with her new movie "The Three Stooges" opening up on April 13th, Miss Vergara is also lined up to take the Studio 8H stage as host of "Saturday Night Live" on April 7th.

Of landing the gig on the NBC show, the "Modern Family" actress told Access Hollywood, “I’m very happy, very excited because I never thought I was going to be part of that TV show. I think it’s an American tradition. It’s a TV show that the whole world knows, so for me, it’s an honor to be part of that group of actors that are known for their excellence.”

She added of what viewers can expect, “I don’t know yet what they have in mind. I’m going to go to New York a week before Saturday and we rehearse and they come up with the sketches, so, it’s like a whole week of work.”

Sofia Vergara Scores Top Spot on AskMen Poll

Each year they search for the hottest lady in the land, and this year AskMen has named Sofia Vergara as the Most Desirable Woman of 2012.

The “Modern Family” hottie’s curvaceous form and flirty personality garnered her the most votes on the website’s contest, a feat made more impressive by considering the competition.

At #2 was Kate Upton, while Rooney Mara scored the third spot and Miranda Kerr came in at a respectable #4.

Surprisingly, Megan Fox fell to #96 while Pippa Middleton landed at #98. Pippa’s Royal sister Kate did well at #11 and Kim Kardashian rests easy at #8.

Sofia Vergara Launches New Line at Kmart

She’s been all over the place lately, and Sofia Vergara turned up at a New York City Kmart to launch her new line of clothing today (September 22).

The “Modern Family” hottie worked the crowd like a pro as she hammed it up for the Sofia By Sofia Vergara collection shindig.

Ms. Vergara has a wide variety of items in her new collection ranging from the $15-$20 price point up to $60.

Of the new venture, Sofia told Robin Roberts, “It’s been a dream that I’ve had for many years. I’ve been in the entertainment business… the Latin market for 20 years, and I’ve always had the girls come to me and ask my advice about clothing… I said, ‘It’s a great idea to have a little side business and to be in touch with my fans.’”
