Taylor Kitsch Spearheads Star-Studded John Carter Premiere

Making the most of the midweek evening, the cast of “John Carter” gathered together at the Los Angeles premiere of their upcoming motion picture on Wednesday (February 22).

Taylor Kitsch, Bryan Cranston, Willem DaFoe, Lynn Collins, and James Purefoy all showed up at the Regent LA Live Theatre to greet fans and pose for pictures before heading into the screening.

Also turning up to check out the Andrew Stanton directed work were young stars such as Corbin Bleu, Alexa Vega, Bella Thorne and Frankie Muniz, as well as Tinseltown vet Helen Mirren.

As for the film, the Walt Disney production is about a Civil War veteran who is transplanted to Mars, only to discover a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians.

Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes only to encounter a princess in desperate need of a savior. “John Carter” hits theaters on March 9th.
