As police continue investigating the death of Michael Showers, new details have emerged.
Earlier this week, the “Treme” actor’s body was found floating in the Mississippi River and according to the Orleans Parish coroner’s office, Showers died from drowning.
It was also revealed that the 45-year-old was battling depression and anxiety and had been diagnosed in March with multiple sclerosis, the Time-Picayune reported.
