Kicking off its two week blockbuster run, a big screen look at the cast's whirlwind summer tour is now out, as "Glee: The 3D Concert" movie hits theaters today (August 12).
Offering up the behind-the-scenes action, as well as all of the excitement of live performance footage, the PG rated musical piece has been one of the most highly-anticipated film events of the season.
Sure to get all the "Gleeks" excited, all of the series' characters will make an onscreen appearance, including, Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Cory Montieth, Chris Colfer and Darren Criss.
The much-talked about project, which was directed by Kevin Tancharoen, is "a concert documentary shot during the Glee Live! In Concert! summer 2011 tour."
After experiencing quite the scare on Thursday (August 11) when her tour bus crashed into a tractor-trailer, Miranda Cosgrove has taken to Twitter to thank her fans for all the support.
On Friday, the “iCarly” beauty tweeted, “Thank u so much for all your messages. They mean so much to me. Yesterday was extremely scary and I’m just so happy everyone’s gonna be okay.”
The Disney star suffered a broken ankle while the other passengers on the bus experienced minor injuries as well.
The driver of the bus, who pulled the maneuver to avoid a potentially more serious crash, had the worst injury out of anyone and reportedly received 45 stitches.
As for now, Miranda’s tour has been canceled, but most likely will be rescheduled shortly.
