Dr. Conrad Murray s Trial: Live Feed Day 11

With each day that passes, Dr. Conrad Murray gets closer to learning his fate, and the manslaughter trial stemming from the death of Michael Jackson has begun this morning.

And according to law enforcement sources, Dr. Murray sealed his own fate by giving an interview to the police two days after the late King of Pop passed away- something he didn’t have to do.

In fact, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office almost didn’t pursue the case, but Murray’s own words convinced them that something had gone awry.

An insider shared, "He told the truth 70% of the time during the interview, and lied 30% of the time. And the lies created the suspicion that led to the investigation that led to charges being filed."

"Murray and his lawyer never thought he'd be charged with a crime. He was worried about the bad P.R. and felt he could put a lid on it. Smart people who are arrogant think they can talk to cops and make a problem go away, but it doesn't work that way."
