Ali Larter's Pumpkin Patch Family Fun

Getting into the holiday spirit, Ali Larter enjoyed a sunny day with her family at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (October 15).

The former “Heroes” actress took a few of her own snapshots of her son, Theodore Hayes, who cheerfully played on the big orange pumpkins with his father Hayes MacArthur.

As for her recently changed up look, Miss Larter's stylist Andy LeCompte recently spoke with People magazine about his client's switchup to a new, shorter hairdo.

Lecompte told, "Ali was looking for a totally re-vamped look. Cutting your hair is a big step for a lot of people, and Ali has had long hair for years. She was excited and ready for the change. She really had a strong idea that she was ready for a fresh new look and was not uncertain at all. Ali is loving her new cut! She loves the freedom and ease of it."

Continuing on about the new mom, Andy added, "Shorter hair is great for fuss-free styling, which complements the busy lives of mothers everywhere - not just in Hollywood. I also think new mothers experience this newfound confidence and find it liberating to not hide behind their hair. For so long the ideal hair for a woman was long, flowy and down to your hips. Women are experimenting more and are realising that you don't have to sacrifice your femininity if you cut your hair."
