Geri Halliwell: Geri By Next Gorgeous

It's one of the most anticipated pictures of the year, and today (October 28) "The Rum Diary" has made its long-awaited release into theaters.

Adding the high level of appeal to the action/drama flick is its stellar cast, which includes big screen favorite Johnny Depp and his two talented co-stars Amber Heard and Aaron Eckhart.

Per IMDB’s website, “The Rum Diary” involves an American journalist named Paul Kemp who takes on a freelance job in Puerto Rico for a local newspaper during the 1950s - during which time he struggles to find a balance between island culture and the ex-patriots who live there.

While talking about production of the film during a recent interview, Miss Heard told press, "I'm in a 1958 Corvette convertible on an empty highway. It's a beautiful spring day in Puerto Rico. And I'm making a movie with Johnny Depp. He's a beautiful specimen of a human being," adding, "It was a wildly, wildly seductive combination. That moment quite possibly has ruined every other job for me."

After a lavish night out at the Chateau Marmont, Sandra Bullock was spotted catching a departing flight out at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday (October 28).

The “Blind Side” babe looked a tad exhausted as she readied to head inside the busy terminal, with the help of a bodyguard.

Last night, Ms Bullock presented a tribute to the late Elizabeth Taylor at the annual amfAR Inspiration Gala.

And during the ritzy soiree, Bullock’s agents’ were awarded a piece of art called “Peaches” created by the infamous Andy Warhol when they bid on it for $14,000.

After being deemed the winners, Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd announced that it would be gifted on to Sandra’s adopted son, Louis.

Bumping around the Big Apple, Jessica Simpson was spotted out and about in New York City on Friday (October 28).

The “Come On Over” beauty wore loose-fitting clothes but was unable to hide her growing baby bump while out shopping for apartments with her mother, Tina.

Although she’s stayed mum about her rumored pregnancy, Jess recently tweeted a picture of her feet dangling while sitting on a toilet, with a caption reading, “Short girl problems.”

Word has it, Simpson is waiting to be offered the right price by a gossip magazine for an exclusive baby announcement featuring the star and her fiance Eric Johnson.

After enjoying a few days in the Big Apple, Jessica Biel was spotted arriving at JFK Airport to catch a departing flight on Friday (October 28).

The “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” hottie looked super cute in a dress and high boots paired with a blazer as she happily smiled for the on-hand photogs.

Last night, Ms Biel –accompanied by on/off beau Justin Timberlake- attended the Fashion Group International 28th Annual Night of Stars event held at Cipriani 55 Wall Street.

The soiree was hosted by Simon Doonan, and Jessica presented an award alongside Star Honoree Giambattista Valli.

Stringing together an all-star ensemble, Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington and Matthew McConaughey have signed on to the CG 3-D action/thriller "Thunder Run."

Teaming up their talents for the Simon West film, the trio of Hollywood heavyweights are set to take the lead roles in the big screen adaption of the novel "Thunder Run: The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie “aims to recount the capture of Baghdad by American forces at the start of the Iraq War in 2003. The three-day assault was referred as a ‘lightning strike’ or thunder run.'"

Set to begin production in 2012, the picture will strive to "paint the harrowing picture of the soldiers on the front lines and the realities of modern warfare.”

Showing the world that she’s still got it, Geri Halliwell stripped down to nothing but lingerie for a recent photoshoot promoting her new collection called “Geri By Next.”

The former “Spice Girls” gal looked smokin’ hot in a variety of sexy bras and underwear as she confidently worked it for the camera.

Keeping the fellas in mind, the 39-year-old and British retail giants Next came up with a line for women that men would also like.

Geri told press, "I feel I understand women's bodies. This was my chance to do the sort of underwear for girls that the boys would like too, if you know what I mean!"
