Box Office: "Puss In Boots" Outwits the Competition

Making her way back to the east coast for the Halloween weekend, Kim Kardashian sparkled at Romera at the Dream Downtown in New York City on Friday night (October 28).

The E! reality star joined alongside the birthday boy, as a soiree was held to celebrate Vikram Chatwal's 40th birthday.

Meanwhile, Miss Kardashian is all set to host a Halloween fete at Lavo on Saturday night - with plenty of stars lined up to attend.

Of the plans, Kim tweeted earlier today (October 29), "Glamming up for my Midori Halloween party at Lavo tonight! I have bright red hair! OMG this is kray!"

Stepping out for holiday hosting duties, Jenni “JWoww” Farley hit up a super-hot Halloween bash at Chateau Nightclub and Gardens at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night (October 28).

Sure to sex up her ensemble, the "Jersey Shore" starlet dressed in a bosom-bearing female gangster getup, while beau Roger Mathews dressed in matching attire.

Working it for the paparazzi, Jenni made time to pose for the buzzing shutterbugs before entering the night club for the festive occasion.

Looking to have enjoyed her Sin City adventure, Miss Farley later tweeted, Had the best time ever. Love going to vegas with my friends n doin it big. Round 2 tomorrow."

After holding a photocall session earlier in the day, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone were back in the spotlight in Madrid, Spain on Friday night (October 28).

The “Twilight" costars took to the Kinepolis Cinema where they warmly greeted fans lining the red carpet entrance ahead of the "Breaking Dawn Part 1" special gala screening.

Along with their overseas duties, both Jackson and Nikki will be along for the ride for the upcoming “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” musical tour, coming up next month.

Musicians from the Breaking Dawn soundtrack will tour the country to perform the songs from the film’s soundtrack, with cast members also making appearances along the way.

The weeklong tour kicks off November 7th in Atlanta, GA with daily stops in Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Salt Lake City concluding on November 11th.

Conjuring up a top-earning spot as it made its way into theaters, "Puss In Boots" out-dueled the competition at the box office over the weekend of October 28-30, 2011.

The Salma Hayek/Antonio Banderas voiced cat caper film raked in $9.8 million on Friday while expected to garner a solid $37 million opening weekend total.

Getting nudged downward to the runner-up position after spending opening weekend in the pole position was "Paranormal Activity 3" - with the spooky picture conjuring up $7.3 million on Friday to pace towards a weekend take of $20 million.

Rounding out the top five at the box office in estimated weekend totals were the Justin Timberlake/ Amanda Seyfried action flick "In Time" ($13 million), followed by the Julianne Hough/Kenny Wormald led classic remake "Footloose" ($6 million) and Johnny Depp driven comedy "The Run Diary" ($5 million).
