Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Draws Out Hollywood's Ladies

Drawing a full range of well-dressed Tinseltown beauties, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic 2011 took place in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday afternoon (October 9).

Held at Will Rogers State Historic Park, former "Hills" co-stars Lauren Conrad and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth roamed the grounds while fellow ladies such as Camilla Belle and Zoe Saldana mingled amongst one another.

Also seen at the annual event were former "Heroes" actress Ali Larter and "Hellboy II" hottie Selma Blair, who proudly showed off her young son Arthur Bleik to attendees Rachel Zoe and Jaime King.

As for the reason for the festive happenings, the event helped raise cash for keeping the famous grounds in top shape after major cuts in government funding, as California State Parks superintendent Lynette Brody said, "The fundraising from this event will help me with day-to- day operations, keeping the lights on and the water running."

Meanwhile, fellow guest and captain of the Black Watch polo team, Nacho Figueras, hopes the star-studded spectacle will help bring attention to the sport, saying, “Polo was a big sport in the 1920s and 1930s. People had polo in their calendars and people were hooked on it. After World War II, polo got lost. I want people not to feel intimidated by the sport.”
