Rachel Bilson & Hayden Christensen's Celebratory Thai Date

She may be the star of one of the most beloved franchise films in history and lay claim to Hollywood hunkiest male Robert Pattinson, yet Kristen Stewart says things weren't always so perfect growing up.

During a recent interview with Britain's GQ magazine, the 21-year-old actress blamed her former teachers for failing to help her pass her classes while she was away working on her movie career.

"I was feeling a little self-conscious about the acting thing with my peers, but also my teachers became a problem," K-Stew told the mag.

Miss Stewart continued, “They didn’t want to do the extra work or put packages together so I could keep up while away. My teachers failed me. Not one, but all of them. I’m always slightly ashamed in a way about what I do. I’m slightly embarrassed as I had such serious ambitions when I was younger, I just never imagined that I would ever have a reason not to go to school. But then this happened.”

Pairing up for a leisurely lunch date, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen were spotted out to eat in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (October 12).

The on-again-off-again couple opted to chow down on some tasty Thai cuisine before making separate exits from the local restaurant.

The outing comes just as it has been announced that Miss Bilson's CW show "Hart of Dixie" has been picked up to run through the spring season.

Recently talking about how having worked with the show's producer, Josh Schwartz, in the past on her former series "The OC" has helped her with the new gig, Rachel told the AP, "We do work really well together and he's so talented and I trust him more than anything. Before I take a new project I usually call Josh and I'll be like, 'What do you think?' It's really nice to feel that comfortable jumping into something new having him by my side."

Meanwhile, fans of Bilson's new TV offering can look forward to a brand new episode titled "In Havoc & In Heat" airing on Monday, October 17th at 9/8c on The CW.

A synopsis via the "Hart of Dixie" website reads: "As Bluebell is hit by an intense heat wave, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) discovers that the hot weather makes everyone act differently and with a lot less inhibition. In fact, it takes all of Zoe's strength to ignore her heat-induced attraction to Wade (Wilson Bethel) until it gets the best of her. Meanwhile, Lemon (Jaime King) prepares for the arrival of George's (Scott Porter) family, determined to win them over, but her emotions get the best of her when Lavon (Cress Williams) shows up to the same restaurant with his date, Didi (Nadine Velazquez)."
