She’s always been one to voice her opinion, and Mandy Moore attended the Power of 1% Press Conference in Washington, D.C. on Monday (October 3).
The “Tangled” actress looked beautiful in a skirt and blouse upon arrival to the Newseum while gladly taking the stage to say a few words regarding the issue at hand.
Joined by Barbara Bush, Moore was in attendance to discuss how less than one percent of the federal budget is not only saving lives, it’s assisting in the development of new markets for U.S. products as well as protecting our borders from infectious disease.
Encouraging her Twitter fans to get involved, Mandy tweeted over the weekend, “I’m joining a press conference Monday 10/3 at 11am EST on the role of U.S. global health investments. Tweet your questions! #WhyForeignAid.”
