Kara DioGuardi Makes "Chicago" Broadway Debut
Cruising around town in style, Lindsay Lohan was spotted visiting Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills while arriving in a brand new ride on Tuesday afternoon (September 6).
The troubled "Georgia Rule" actress hopped out of her sporty Porsche Panamera S looking ever-so-chic as she headed into the place of beauty to get her coif prettied up before emerging hours later with a big smile on her face.
The sighting comes just after a Radar Online report claimed that LiLo has been blowing off her court-ordered community service hours - which she and her rep have both denied.
Of the claim, Lohan told E! News, "I've done tons of DWC community service. You guys [Radar] are way off par on your inadequate and negative assumptions."
The 25-year-old's rep added, "Lindsay has been performing community service at the Downtown Women's Center for months now. There are dozens of paparazzi shots of her going in and out of the facility. How could anyone think she is not doing her community service?"
Kicking off her eight week run on the Broadway stage, Kara DioGuardi made her debut as Roxie Hart in "Chicago" at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City on Tuesday night (September 6).
After treating the audience to a fabulous portrayal of the merry murderess, the former "American Idol" judge made a curtain call alongside fellow cast member Amra-Faye Wright before disappearing backstage.
Talking with TheaterMania prior to the stage show's launch, Miss DioGuardi explained how the job came about, as she said, "The producers made a tradition of calling people who you wouldn't expect to be on Broadway!"
When asked if the Broadway experience has been a lifelong dream, Kara told, "I went to Broadway as a kid, I saw Annie. I had a real love for it. As a little girl, you have dreams of being on Broadway, but I never thought I would be here. It's been some journey for me."
Also dishing about the rehearsal process, 40-year-old DioGuardi dished, "I learned the words two months before rehearsals. The memorization of lines was tricky for me. I was in Europe this summer and was practicing. That helped when I got to rehearsals. Once we started, I got this incredible, fast review on dancing and acting. The cast has been extremely welcoming. They have been so nice and embraced me. I started hanging out with them immediately when I got there. It has been a blast."
